Accountbilities

Pre-Season Merchandise Planning:

·         Conduct analysis based on historical sell-in and sell-through data to identify top selling articles and slow moving articles, and identify the key drivers for success or failure

·         Work with product marketing team to provide feedback on trade needs and new seasonal range

·         Involved in the range week to define article segments as well as to provide insight for mandatory range development

·         Develop new-season article ranking base on Product Marketing new season range

·         Conduct article selection according to merchandising planning and article ranking results

·         Place order to target doors with good assortment and initial launch package

·         Do order compliance check and provide detail analysis

·         Provide necessary merchandising training, coaching, support to internal and external teams

In-Season Merchandising Execution:

·         Do product allocation for key stores

·         Being involved in the key store opening layout design and provide store opening support for provide allocation

·         Working with VM and Retail Operation team for key AP stores product launch support and VM plan

·         Lead in the process to provide ongoing product and category performance and quantitative analysis e.g.: sell though, stock level etc.

·         Conduct analysis of category performances

Post-Season Review:

·         Provide seasonal deep dive analysis for key customers

·         Partner with Merchandising planning team (franchisee), Retail Operations, VM, Sales, and Logistics teams to develop action steps for next season

Requirements

·         Minimum 3 years’ experience in merchandising  or buyer

·         Rigorous business analysis - understanding and interpreting data; putting data/analysis/tools in a structured, easy-to-use formats; and making recommendations that team can act upon

·         Excellent excel skills

·         Effective partnering, communication, and influencing skills (written and orally) –someone who can proactively communicate analysis/methodologies with functional partners and influence them to rethink and change their existing practices

·         Good understanding of retail business

·         College degree or above
